How to Apply?
Becoming an Affiliated Fellow is simple and structured to highlight your expertise and alignment with the Initiative’s mission.
Step 1: Prepare Your Materials

Step 3: Council Review and Appointment
Applications are reviewed by the Leadership Council, which selects Fellows based on expertise, interdisciplinary contributions, and alignment with the Initiative’s mission. Appointed Fellows serve a one-year term and actively contribute to research, mentorship, and collaborative projects.
Once appointed, Fellows gain access to a vibrant network of students, faculty, and industry professionals, with opportunities to shape AI literacy and media innovation at VCU.
